Hi all, just pulled out a t2 motor to put into my 88 gtu. Other then replacing all the vacuum lines, and getting rid of the rats nest, what else would you recommend I do? I'm also going to clean up the engine, but obviously thats nothing special. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif
Thanks guys. ~Tweak |
Get the injectors cleaned, www.witchhunter.com or www.rceng.com do great jobs, replace the fuel filter, I would get new intake gaskets, and o-rings, it's much easier to do with the engine out of the car. Thats all I can think of right now, maybe paint the engine bay as well.

I was suprised how easy it was to remove the rats nest. Now all I gata do is figure out what things to cap and where things that I need to keep, plug into. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif |

what is the "Split Air Valve", "EGR", and "Air Control Valve" ... and why does the "Sub-Zero Start Assist" need blocked off. It doesnt cause a vac leak if I just plug it does it? |
and what one will block off my air pump? I need to get rid of that waste.
Thanks. |
