in my s5 everytime i start the car when it is cool it cranks then doesnt turn over then i have to floor it and crank it and it turns over is this because of the starter or something internal

probably fuel leak or leaky injectors, i'd get em cleaned.. sounds like its flooding

Will it start if it sits over night? If so then ya its a flooded engine.

no if i let it sit over night it wont start the first time i try after i try then i will floor the gas then start it then will start right up but not vice versa i have to do it in that order
