Yes, I know, Mazda+Honda isnt a good match, but I have a set of mint 94 Vtec seats sitting in the corner of my garage, and my FC's seats suck. Question is: The Prelude rails are a lot taller then the Rx-7's, and are also mounted flat (front wheel drive, no tunnel.) I want to take the rails off of the Rex seats and put them on the Prelude seats, but mounting the rails would involve welding some .032 steel, which is a little thicker then a razor blade. Not easy to do. Any ideas on how I could mount these seats??

Thanks!

How about getting some metal and just drilling holes to match the rx holes with the prelude rails?

try swapping the rails from the mazda seats to the prelude, you

can use metal to line them up where you want them,

if the metal is too thin to weld then try rivets or nuts and bolts

with backing plates or fender washers
