I can't afford anything right now...I don't even know when I'll be able to get a water pump.

It's obviously turbo envy.

I have a spare water pump or two, but I don't know what kind of shape they're in. One spins very freely, but it's at KOOKS headers right now. I brought them an "empty" engine with a water pump and LIM on it to make a manifold for my new turbo.

I just left my rack full of fluid and plugged up the holes left by removing the hoses.
I did that and it blew my steering box seal...any other suggestions?

Hmmm...did you plug the lines on the rack itself?

shouldn't have done that. there is still air and fluid in the rack, and as you turn the wheel, the plunger inside the rack compresses those fluids. since liquids are incompressible, something will have to give. most likely, that will be a seal.

So what do you actually plug then ? And does anyone know the sizes of the bolts to plug these up.?
