So if you do pull your power steering pump and want to reroute the hoses so you can still use your power rack, which ones do you reroute?

sleeperRX7 07-24-2002 09:50 PM

i didnt re route any. i plugged the two metal lines with jb weld and turned the steering wheel until fluid stopped coming out of the rubber line against the front drive side wheel well and plugged it with a piece of bar stock and clamped it. it works for me? does anyone if you have to re-route the lines? the rack is full of fluid so i dont think it will hurt anything if you dont?

I just left my rack full of fluid and plugged up the holes left by removing the hoses.

You're a tough guy though...what about for the rest of us? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I'll try that and see what happens. My water pump just sprung a leak, so I'll have to fix that before I can see how much I like manual steering.

You haven't been having much luck with your car lately.

No, my car certainly isn't treating me very well these days.
