If you were in Virginia, I'd recommend Precision Powder Coating. They did the rally wheels on my wife's '78 L-82 Corvette for $50. a wheel. They came out very nice.

as you can tell i am not in va, but who usually does this kind of work? I dont think it will be listed in the yellow pages under powder coating.

Actually, the yellow pages here do have a few listings under "Powder Processing & Coating." :P
I think I found out about these people at a rods and customs show. They usually have a lot of reps from shops in the area. You might see if there's one coming to your area. |
