A journey begins with but a single step.....................
|
I've heard most of Banzai's plans for the BFH, and all I have to say is you better watch out on the track!!!!!!!!!!

You got the pineapple pee port with the SDJ header a while ago! It's still not in?!?!
|
I just now got the shop able to handle a car in it. Combine with major back surgery in March.

Prelim sizing is 550cc/760cc. Dyno testing may alter
Worked on the E6X Mounting arrangement: Used 1/2" thick 6061 AL plate drilled to mount to the OEM bracket. |
Initial fitting of Engine to test engine Mount, Will weld Monday night. Have to go to Buddies house to use the TIG
|
what are you doing for an intake Banzai? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
|
SDJ Header slipped on for fit test.
Intake will be a Tweek-It 55mm Throttle Body on a fabricated manifold |
Sweet! Pixs!! So are you using a custom oil pan or something? Why did you change the passenger motor mount?
|
Engine is built on Early 4 port irons, that have the engine mount on the side of the iron, vice the bottom of the iron thru the oil pan. Oil pan is stock with a Pineapple baffle. Your Comments are the fuel to the fire under my butt! Keep them coming !!!!!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

1/2" is what I have in the shop right now. If I need the extra pound to lose, I know where to find it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

BFH = Banzai's old project; the Base From Hell... for the uneducated.
|
Here is a https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif VERY https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif rough layout of the MAXIMUM length of a straight runner design. This was done with some scrap muffler pipe and a piece of sheetmetal with plenty of duct tape!!!
|
I LOVE IT!
Keep the thread going! Get that stupid Air conditioning compressor out of the way, okay thanks. |

I have spent a lot of time researching linear actuators, and I know where a slide throttle body is located (and for sale) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
Lets get it running first BEFORE we really make it complicated |
why 4 port irons? (less to fill in?)

The Engine was built from parts from an UNDER-FUNDED customer at Pineapple Racing. I got a "deal" due to the first engine FIASCO! |
