<sigh> Unfortunately my friend who I was going to buy the TII from is considering keeping it. :shakehead:

Anyways, I was interested in the path of performance mods for the FC. Like suspension, I notice that strut tower bars seem to be popular. What kinda shocks and springs are commonly used? What about a coilover system? Do say "Tiens" make coilovers for the FC? What about anti-sway bars? Do you guys usually get front and rears?

What about bolt ons? I/H/E? What kinda performance gains would you expect?

What about the "wish-list" type stuff like upgraded turbos, intercoolers, etc.?

I guess I'm just trying to get a picture of how far you could go with a TII to make it a tracking monster :tounge:

The question is not what can you do, its how much do you want to spend. The Mazda RX7 has always been Mazda's factory flagship in racing, and there are TONS of great mods to be done to these cars! You can go the nice J-SPEC parts route and import any performance mod you can imagine, or you can check out the parts from the many american vendors that make parts. There a turbo/intercooler upgrades from most of the popular companies like GREDDY, HKS, Garret, etc...suspension can go w/ simple springs and struts from intrax;tokico;kyb;etc to full out coilovers from HKS and GREDDY...the mod lists go forever...and I could write a book on them! If you wanna know anything specific let me know, I love talking mods
