Allright. When I have my car in 1st, 2nd, or reverse gear and I am driving slowly and let off of the gas and the transmission is winding down, the clutch is not pressed, it makes a painfully loud metalic grinding sound. It does not do this in any other gear. When the car is in neutral there is no sound. When I am giving the car gas in any of those gears it does not make that sound. It seems to only happen when the transmission is winding down. I put royal purple in this summer and it was filled to the full line. Is it the transmission or something else? If not what could it be? Thanks.

it can't be the rear end because I just put a new one on an new fluid. But I'm leaning towards the trans.
