Should the electronic OMP work while cranking the car? Can somebody explain to me when the car injects oil..is it RPM triggered...volt, etc??? It just makes me a little nervous...

Should he premix his first tank? Or is there a way to prime the system?

I would run Premix until I was sure the OMP was fuctioning and primed. BTW, a Defective S5 OMP will throw a code in the ECU and put you into limp-home mode

Well, considering my car hasn't actually started yet..I'm not sure if the OMP is out...it worked fine when I had the Jspec in there so we'll wait and see. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't supposed to inject while cranking..it probably does at idle though....

also, should I premix while trying to start? I thought about putting some oil down the LIM so it would get soaked in and at least provide some kind of lube while I'm trying to start it..dunno, opinions?

Ahh..ok. cool, I'm pretty sure the gapping hole in the UIM, and the little ones in the TID(from removing emissions, etc) are not making it any easier, lol..i'll get everything plugged up and ready to go again tomorrow hopefully...
