You can pre-mix with 2-stroke oil. I believe this will cut down on Carbon build up a great bit in the engine. Did the guy have the Oil metering pump removed?

yeah make sure it's only 2 stroke. TC-W3 ashless too. you can't just throw in any oil and you don't have to add that much if you're not gonna race it or something. 2 gallons of gas to 1 OZ of oil is more than enough for DD.

Remember, if his car is '89 or older, haltech cant run the OMP.

the OMP or MOP is the oil metering pump. it pumps engine oil into the engine to lube the insides and burns with the fuel.

lots of poeple remove it with heavy moded cars, or if you have an 89-91 with a haltech you have too unless you do lots of other work. so what you need to do is put 2 cycle oil into the gas tank at every fill up. so the fuel injectors will put oil into the engine, instead of the OMP. 1oz to 1 gallon is what people use.

I'd recommand the vavloline "multi purpose 2 cycle" it's low ash and tc-w3 approved.

tc-w3 is a certifacation. any brand that meets it will have a stamp or something on the bottle telling you.

many people say putting it into the gas tank is far better in terms of lubing. it's just a pain in the *** to some people to add it every tank.

failure to add the oil in will result in your engine toast in around 1000miles

you can add 2 cycle oil to your gas tank if you want to get some extra lubrication for the apex seals....
