Have the chance to buy a shop manual for 50-60 bucks. I have 88 SE. The book says 89-81. Mine is S4, manual covers S5. I might be wrong, correct me if I am. Thanks

I do recommend the hard copy as it makes those under car excursions a bit quicker, but in the meantime...

Oh, and no, you want the 86-88 (series 4) manual. There's enough little things that are different that it matters.

for that price, just go to your parts store and get the haynes manual...it covers each and all of the years (1986-1991)

just download them and printout wat u need

 

This is a good idea, but having the real copy can be really nice (I lose papers that aren't bound often ). It's all there and ready for ya anytime in a neat little package.
