ok so i just did a subtotal on the price of my "next step" for my little t2, what is the awe-inspiring number (still not a complete list, doesnt include price of new ignition coils, s/s braided fuel line, s/s hard fuel lines, or the fittings to connect those two together as well as the little odds and ends youi miraculously find the need for in between)?

Right now, it stands at $2117.44

Hopefully the "step" will be finished sometime at end-march -> mid-april.

The simplest things in the list are 3 MSD 6a's and a haltech e6k.

The fun **** is the fuel system, 2 Barry Grant fuel filters, aeromotive fpr, dual walbros, -6AN everywhere, custom rails, earl's everywhere etc etc etc. THat takes up a nice $692 chunk...so far, that is far from finished thats about 3/4 of the system im installing.

Then you factor in the **** i need to put the enw found glory to the ground aka full bushing replacement, nice 245x45R16 toyo t1s', and whatever else i run into on the way, which will probably inflate that $2100 number by almost double.

next few weeks = mad ebay-ing.

Figured i'd just keep everyone up to date on the flamethrowa.

oh and hopefully the motor wont let go until after this step, as the next step is streetport and t04R...unless i find a nicer turbo, but im not about to start that shopping, lol.

yeah, i had a nice list like that also. I budgetted myself at 5 grand for the project. Right before i started buying, my engine blew up. Go figure... so now my 'plans' wont be finished by the end of winter (which i had hoped) and are looking more into the summer.

oh and for "close to current" pics go to

http://www.niteshade.net/89t2

i always make sure to take before and after pics of my projects and **** so tyherell be plenty of pics.

As for AN fittings being expensive. I'm using 40 feet of S/S line (hardline on frame and braided everywhere else) that alone is over $200. The fittings i KNOW im using totalled out to like $160 and thats only like 3/4 of the fittings i will need so thatll be over $200, if i buy them each idnivdually brand new but i plan on ebayying.

as for being a pain....its better then a rubber house exploding or rubber hose flying off a barbed end, no?

go straight, fast.

but will also be at least nearly daily driven so the suspension setup wont be changed (KYB's in front, Tokicos in rear with the eibach spring kit) until i find a new candidate (probably an s5 n/a) to take over d/d duties.
