No trailing spark

my 87 t2 doesnt want to start. it also keeps fooding. today i took the primary plugs out and cleaned them. the vehical finaly came to life but ran like **** and didnt want to idle. i decided to clean my trailing plugs and then see what happens. when i took them out they had alot of carbon on them aswell as gas. after cleaning them. i went to cheack them for spark. but they had nothin. i pulled the wires off the coil pack but i also didnt have spark coming from the coil pack... so did my coils go... or is it somthing else mabey any ways to cheack this theory? please help

my bad... i meant the leading coil wich is the bottom plugs.....

possibly, check wireing, see if you are getting voltage to the wires which plug into the coils. If you are your coils are probably bad. I have a leading coilpack here gimme 20 bucks and its shipped.
