Newbie Question...

Post #2, yes, a pure unadulterated, never driven a rotary before, newbie.
Intalled a used 13B, six port, non-turbo motor and got it to run last night (for about three seconds) for the first time !!! This is a motor swap from a four port 13B in a non-RX7 application.
Now I'm ready to fill it with coolant. There is a vent tube on the oil filler neck, just below that there is a vent tube on the center (iron) housing. (3/8" diameter, 1.5" long, pointing towards the #2 rotor housing) Is this a vacuum source? coolant passage? If vacuum source, is this a really high heat area? I have nothing to plug into this port, so I'm gonna block it off. I just need to know how robust of a plug to use and am curious to know what I'm blocking off.

hey man, sory for the slow reply here, I just got off my lazy *** to check this line for ya. anyhoo the line in question is a vacuume line, if you look at the upper manifold towards the firewall ( on the passenger side of where it says "13b injection") there are two vacuume lines on top of each other (like an over and under) it goes to the top one. nothin special I'm sure.
does that make sense, or can I blame it on the beer?
