I need some pictures/information regarding the fuel filler door. Mine has never latched, the fuel door release on the inside doesn't work from what I can tell, and the door swings open freely. I want to fix it, but don't have the faintest idea what the mechanism inside the door is suppost to look like. More than likely, the previous owner broke it, and rigged it back together. I'd love any help anyone can give me (Haynes manual was useless)

 

its pretty simple just has a metal peice that applies pressure to the door and when the realese is tripped it pushes the door open slightly. I can take a picture tommorow after im done doing some work.

 

Thanks. My problem is that the one in mine is held on with a bolt, doesn't move at all, and doesn't let the door latch to it. I'd love it if you could get a picture for me. Thanks
