Ya I should be able to make more too, this is lacking ignition mods which should help torque and more HP in the top end, also if you notice the fuel curve line it still needed some work at the higher RPM i needed to buy a jetting plate to put inbetween the carb and ther secondary float, but I'm ditching this to going to the FI. But I should be able to squeeze out i think about 155-160 hp to the wheels which hopefully about anothe 5 ft-lb of torque or so maybe more.

The really cool thing is that, I orgininally picked up this car from a junk yard and making it come to life like this really brings smile to my face. Especially concerning that this is my first car ever and have never attempted working a car at this extensive level. Before i bought the car, i was suppose to get a motorcycle but my parent didn't really approve of that ... that was after i got all my gear and license ( they said that they were just waiting for me to chicken out) guess i should of told them how many times i was caught speeding on a bycicle . Anyhow so i still wanted something that would rev similar to it and after much extensive research i had to get one of these cars. Without luck trying to find a running one for a decent price or shape, i called around junkyard and found this and fell in love. And here she is now, a alot more learning about cars .... now i fix all kinds of them in my own drive way especially this one

Thanks for all the compliments guys ... if you think I should upgrade to something else that you think is better on the list then let me know. I'm really more insterested in finding out what kind of Standalone to run.

Not to be a wet blanket or anything but I wouldpersonally suggest NOT getting the Gilmer Drive for you rx. I have it and am not happy at all with it. It will skip off the waterpump gear at anything passed 6k. So now i have to get the relocation kit from pineapple racing with a new belt from miguires bearings to fix the problem. The kit to me is just not worth the extra money. If i were you i would just get the relocation kit for the 69.00 and a longer belt. You will not have any slippage due to the increase in surface contact not to mention moving the weight of the alt. down and you save a butt load of cash for something cooler, like getting a good breather tank with silicon hosing...

Sorry, one more thing. A EGT system is in my opinion, better. It allows for the balancing of both rotors (important for boosted motors) and it is a early warning system for a leaning condition in comparision to O2 which wouldn't know if one rotor is leaning out or not since it takes the average of the two. Besides EGT is cheaper.

Hey,

Thanks for the info, If I can do both simeltaniusly i will do that. I have looked at the pineapple racing one, which has both front and rear on there in a single guage (saves a little more room). Also about the gilmer drive, where abouts did you purchase yours? I was looking from the tweak it site. I could really use it for supercharger setup. Thats the main reason that i wanted it. I've never head anything about it slipping above 6k before though? Why didn't you do a custom belt tensioner as highlighted in attached picture. The setup that I'm thinking about looks like this the other picture attached.

I got mine from tweakit as well. I haven't done the belt tensioner. I am sure that would fix it but i pissed me off that they didn't tell me that i would need one. as how to make a tension pulley I am not sure nor do i know where to get one so... I got the Pineapple EGT and i like it. It has been essential to tune my weber since each rotor is individually tuneable.
