Does the T04Z COME with divided exhaust housing? Is there a .81 cutback version of this turbo?I think this turbo will do everything i would need a car to do and never get another turbo good spool, good power.I know about other turbos as well but this one is appealing and intrests me.Engine is blown so it'll be built for the turbo i do get.Car is 1990 rx7 turbo will the t04z fit?Can i run the hks 50mm wastegate and the hks divided manifold with internal wastegate? Im not gonna bother tuning my own car i finally made up my mind.Im going to ship out to Toronto going to set me back $650 for shipping but to me thats insurance and It's because we have no tuners for any ems,and i dont feel comfortable tuning myself ,i know of a few shops in Toronto, this way i dont have to think and worry if about popping a engine when i go wot.Havent drove in 2 years so i saved up for this.i dont think theres one fast street fc around here or fd.Eventually i'll be running at 17-19 psi daily after some water injection, but to begin with 13 psi to get things going.I know it goes for about 300,000 yen,who can i get one from and how long in advance do i need to put in order?I wont need it till about jan-feb.

Thanks

T04Z---hummmmm I want one too.....

T04Z is divided just like the other T04`s except for the cutback.

No problem to fit. Im sure there is a kit for it too.

$650 for shipping? HOLLY CRAP where is it coming from MARS?

I do recommend some engine work, since you will need it if your stock. FUEL FUEL FUEL hehe

Internal wastegate?? I hope you dont mean that....

■TO4Z

63T A/R0.81

Thanks JT.I"ll let you know when things get rolling.its hard when noone around here has a custom turbo on there car,it makes it hard to make a decision on a turbo or ecu or any other major mod.Im sure t04z can hit full boost by 3600 rpm,I cruised around 3000rpm in my fc.I do alot of reading on forums and i'll have to base my decision on that.Ya i meant internal wastegate,i figured external wastegate is the way to go, now that you meentioned cutback is not divided i dont know which manifold to use, because cutback is supposed to be faster spool but i thought divided would be,whats your opinion/experience on that and what do you recommend,is the 50mm hks racing wastegate sufficent?I want to stick with .81 a/r for now.Car is going to get shipped from Manitoba(province) to Ontario,Toronto.Im in Canada.Might be a littlle cheaper, doubt it though.

Thanks

Well since the T04Z is BB, Im not sure how much better the cutback would be. The exhuast manifold is custom though, the downpipe for it has a V-band vise the original T04 style.

Im sure your spool might be around 3600-4000 but it depends on your engine mods etc...

No one really has this turbo, I know HKS released the prototype back at the 03 autosalon, but I dont know what the deal is. Might be the price most dont like, maybe skeptics (spelling) hehe

Internal wastegate on that turbo would be impossible/improbable...hehe

Shipping for a full kit might be around $650, but not just the turbo. I still think you could ship it for less though..

actually its 550-650 just to get it shipped to ontario id probably break it in there, get it retuned and drive it back.I originally got car from ontario and paid 650 for j simmons secuirty in ontario to get it shipped to canadian fleet in winnipeg which is only 5 minutes away from my house. I can get the engine and turbo installeld here no problem, theres a guy who works on rx7's day in and day out in his backyard.Tuning is the issue.Noones around here really installed/tuned a haltech or power fc as far as i know.My dad even has a shop i can r@r engine and stuff.Tuning is the bitch part around here.I'm not rushing into anything.Getting license back in march so after that.If i feel compitent enough maybe i'll try.Only help i have is the internet..Also thanks to the ppl on this board, really helped me out alot.

The last time I checked the price was only $400 more then the T04R but without a kit. I have no idea on the kit price difference between them either. I'd like to know if it will give you a lower threshold like the T04S but still retain a little more upper HP like the T04R. If the total price with kit is just too much then the new GT40R sounds like a good alternative.
