oh yeah. I got my car looked at by someone and they said that air could be getting past the gaskets on the intake manifold. I didn't take off the manifold, but can that be what is wrong.

could be the TPS...i had studdering when giving gas at lower rpms and a check engine light when it went...

an check engine light might also come on due to a O2 sensor...

at http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/codes.html you'll find a nice tutorial on checkin any stored engines codes...its really easy and could give you an insight into anything that might be wrong with the car...good luck

I would think that it is the TPS (throttle position sensor). If not...something to do with the 5th and 6th port actuation?

Could be a problem with the secondary injectors,or wiring harness grounds

Did the car just do this on its own or did you mod the car and now it acts up?

Could be a vac leak. To check you can buy some carb cleaner, and spray around all your lines and around the TB, UIM, and LIM. I've never had my check engine light come on because of the TPS, and there has been a few times that it was way out of wack. But it is an easy thing to check, so I'd do it.

Hey guys mine is studdering too. 2200 to 2800 RPMs and little to no throttle. So what about the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) should I just unplug it and see if the studdering goes away. Can I clean it or do you have to replace it?

I just got done adjusting my TPS and just using a DMM & setting it to the desired resistance was cheese.. wow was it off too

A - B should have a resistance of .8 - 1.2 ohm (closed) and i believe it's 3.5 - 4.6 open (narrow range)

E - D should be .4 - .6 ohm (closed) and 4 - 8 ohm open (full range) <--- those ohm could be way off for exactly resistance I adjusted it all around 3pm and trying to recall what the FSM specs were for it off the top of my head. Just adjust the little screw as needed to get the resistance back into spec.

My car stutters at anything over half throttle. So my deduction is that i'm hoping a pin slipped on my ECU for the full range and that's what my problem is... (this is at any RPM well 1500 - 4k)
