need help asap

I put in a new tranny and clutch then tried to start it and it acted like my battery was dead so we jumped it still nothin could my motor be locked up , i drove it in the shop then 2 days i tried to start it any help would be awesome



It is a 90 n\a

Check the starter wiring.

Like Baldy said, there's gotta be a wire off somewhere.

Check the ground that goes from the bell housing to the firewall.

I had the same exact problem, ya its the ground wire off the starter, after changing the clutch its like the only wire to to forget.

hah, yeah i had exactly the same problem... its that darn groudn wire... then somehow that little wire that plugs into the top got smashed between the power wire and contacted and would try to start as soon as you hooked the battery up... but anyway yeah i just tightened that gorund wire up and fixed the problem
