ok heres the deal some is gonna sell me her dads 90 na 5speed he just passed away and she said 500 buks so i test drove it clutch was acting wierd would slip up after u let it in gear for a while then that eventualy went away and it was grabbing fine but the major thing is at idle it runs fine if ur netural and hold the gas anywhere above 2grand u hear a slight pop and the rmps drop100 then go back to where it was it does this at any rpm im not sure what it is the engine only has 95k miles or so on it he was 2nd ownder hardly ever drove it and its in pretty decent shape he used to be a mechanic so he took care of it but i need to know of this sounds like could be something major or possibly minor like spark plug or dead gas something along that line ... i used to have a 90 but it never did anything like that so i have no idea please any help would be appreciated thanks

sounds like it needs a new clutch, besides that sounds fine to me, if the rpms do that sort of thing then it probably needs a tune up and the throttle position sensor adjustd, or it could be a vacume leak as well, for 500 if it runs its well worth it
