i need to know if i can use a n/a mass air flow sensor on my TII or will that hurt it? my maf is sticking so i dont want to use it and have it stick on me. i allso heard you could use one out of a 929 is this true? i am hoping to have this fixed by sat i have dyno time.

im not to sure but i think it would work. it might make a difference cause a n/a doesnt pull as much air. but then again the maf might just give a reading to the ecu and that takes care of everything. i would try the n/a and hit up the dyno then when you get a regular maf for your tii hit up the dyno again and then the truth will be told.

I'm pretty sure they are calibrated differently, check the fsm to see the range used for testing. If it specifies different values NA vs Turbo then you know they're different.

I'll sell you mine. PM me if you are interested. It's out of my 87 T2.
