Unhappy

Hi i have a S4 turbo,

just had the back rotor rebuilt cause it threw it's toys out the cot...

Having real trouble starting it, heaps of fuel vapour is coming out the exhaust when it's cranking, the only way i can start it is with a vise grip on the fuel line. then take it off once it starts.

I have removed the rats nest but i donb't know if it's a vacum leak. Well i can't find 1 anyway.

once it's runing it doesn't idle runs at about 1800 anything less and it stalls.

When i drive it goes really well...

Please help any ideas.

What do i do with the auto choke?? is it stuck on??

Sounds like a vacuum leak, use a piece of vacuum hose while the car is running and probe around. Your injectors are probably leaking, you should have them tested.

yeah, its prolly vacuum leaks. you can spray carb/brake cleaner around the engine and when the idle changes you have found your leak. also check the hose between the air filter and the turbo, they like to crack

I took off the manifold and checked for hoses and stuff not blocked up.

Nothing, blocked off that drain off line thing that runs down past the turbo...

hose to the turbo had a crack in it so i sealed that up.

Still not any better

Are there any other things to check???

The three beep sounds like your Power steering.. Just unplug the power steering computer.. (under dash.. by your knees ) It's a silver box, just unplug it as for getting her started, i'm lost for words
