I got everything hooked up the right way finally, but need to put exhaust back on my car before I go to start it....

my question is this...what is the small then wire on the starter? Not the large positive cable, or the one coming from the solenoid, but the small one that clips on..I can't find a diagram to tell me what it is...is that just another simple ground??

Thanks...just curious..it didn't seem to be that important, but I now know it is,lol...I checked my interlock switch for the clutch last night, and my ignition is still fine....so now that I fixed the other issue, it should start up...

Let us know if you can't find it. I went through this BS a week ago.

Well, nah...I got it all hooked up right, but for some reason the starter clicks...but just once every 5seconds or so...and I thought it was the battery, but put the battery back in my protege..and it fired up..i'm trying to think of what else it could be...would crossing the two wires(the positive, and the one off the solenoid) damage the starter? Maybe my starter burned out....
