Anyone know of a good site or a good description with pictures of doing a N/A to TII. i got a rusty TII and a rock solid gxl. there both the same year and i just need some good pictures and descriptions of doing the swap

 

take out the dash harness when you do this. we couldnt get one started until i changed the harness

you don't need to take the dash harness out you need to take the engine harness out. since you have the same year you will be set swap harnesses, motors, diffs ect. have fun, boost is GREAT

 

Thanks for the info. the one site that i saw how to do this said nothing about the engine wiring harness thanks....

 

im just telling you what we had to do.. we where getting fuel and spark but nothing would happen.. even tapped a few wires in and still nothing. i changed the dash harness and first shot started rite up... try with out the dash harness and if you have problems you can Try it with. you have everything there to convert.

 

did you use a s5 ecu?

no i had a parts car also that i used to convert all S4.. i have then taken it all out of the na and put it all back into another t2 body that i picked up that was stripped.

 

the only tiem i have seen the dash harness have to be replaced was on a s5 car with s4 computer and vise versa
