How much does Judge Ito charge you for the rebuild? May need one sometime down the line. Was your TII really pushing 500hp with the J-spec motor and all that other stuff? `

I was talking about the bad engine. I wouldn't mind having one to rebuild over the next few months just for fun Now that my other car is running good my mind is churning.

first i have to pay him then i have to get it. then swap it. i think swapping the engines will be easiest part since this will be #3 going in

i'm also gonna port the hell out of the wastegate on the stock turbo while its apart. so i can try and run 10psi and 15+psi hehe
You should get a bigger turbo! :smirk:
don't tempt me...........
When I had a stock turbo on that motor it would always hit 15+ PSI. To do an upgraded turbo all you need is the turbo, manifold, oil lines, and downpipe. The resr just involves tuning.
then i need to put in my 1680cc secondaries, fpr, etc. i just want to run the stock turbo @ 10psi for now. i don't need another car with 500hp although it would be fun. i want to actually drive this car and have it be semi reliable
Yeah, that's a good idea. If you do that then you'll be able to actually drive the car for quite a few years. All you'll need is a FMIC.

i do have big plans for single turbo, haltech E11, etc etc. just not right now. a good engine is all i want. that seems like a big enough challenge
I was thinking about saying **** it and just use the 91 coupe the way it is. I'd be taking a $2200 hit for the turbo and manifold, but I'd probably be happier.
