[quote name='1Revvin7' date='May 2 2005, 12:26 PM']How much top end the car will have is mainly dependent on the size of the exhaust housings/turbine, and the turboback exhaust. What kind of power are you shooting for? $10k is a good budget to make a reliable 400rwhp rx7. Who do you plan on having do the motor/setup?

I was shooting for about 400whp, I was gonna look around, I hear there are a few tuners out here in Socal, but being new to tuning, I wouldn't know. I don't have a problem with getting an engine from out of state if the quality warrants it.

Would the T04e be a good turbo for that power range?

What ECU would I go with since a PowerFC doesn't work with S4's?

Yes, a To4E can produce 400rwhp, now how easily depends on your setup/tuning.

Well since you aren't tuning the car, I would get whatever system your local tuner is more exp/comfortable with. What part of CA are you in?

The power FC was also designed for the S5 TII but was sold mainly over seas. For stand alone units, there are several on the market; Haltech, Microtech, AEM, Wolf, Autotronic, and more.
