I own a 1988 TII.

Well, in a little while I'll have the cash saved up to start workin on modding my fc. Seeing as its my daily until I buy my bike, I'd like it to be pretty solid.

I should have a good chunk of change when I am done, but I am wondering where my money would be best spent.

I am picking up a t04e from my friend for a couple hundred bucks, was wondering how this turbo did on the top end, haven't had much experience with it. I am looking to build a car thats faster up top, but still has some 0-60 speed, since that is where most of the fun happens anyway.

Since I want reliability as opposed to all out power, I was thinking of a good sized street port, t04e, and a PowerFC running the show. Anyone know what kind of power I could expect to see from this setup on the dyno?

Also, any suggested setups? My budget is probably gonna be in the 10k range, but I want to save some of that for my bike

You can run a PowerFC in a 2nd gen?

Looks good to me with the turbo selection. Although, I don't know **** about turbo's. Congrats on the TII.

I thought you could not, cause it is uses the existing FD harness. Just did not want to give false info. Maybe j9 will chime in or some ****.

To run the t04e your going to need upgraded secondaries, fuel pump, manifold, and some mod's to your exhaust

How much top end the car will have is mainly dependent on the size of the exhaust housings/turbine, and the turboback exhaust. What kind of power are you shooting for? $10k is a good budget to make a reliable 400rwhp rx7. Who do you plan on having do the motor/setup?
