I have an 89 automatic. (i know, dont you feel sorry for me?!) Ok, the shifter is loose. It doesnt affect anything but i dont like it. Its just moves around in a small circle around the spot that its supposed to stay in. How would i fix this??

Just take the shifter surround off, and you'll be able to see what's going on in there.
