alright. so my engine in my 90 fc kept flooding and the mechanic who worked on it said it is because i have a broken seal.. and or seals. he said it would be best to get a new engine. he wanted to charge me 5400 dollars for it.. and obviously i cant afford that. so i found two engines so far. one close to where i live. but it is an 87.. he is a friend of mine who works on cars and is a mechanic. he forgot how many miles is on it because he got it a couple months ago just so he could have an extra engine for his fc. but is willing to sell it to me for 300. and he would give me the tranny too. then there is another engine i found in texas. to i would have to shipp it to myself.. is san diego cali. it has 22xxx miles on it and it is from a 91. for 950 dollars.. i have 1500. and there is a rebuilt engine in a shop on display for 1500.. what would be the best choice.. obviously i would think the one in the shop.. but what does anyone else have to say?

keep your car with an s5 engine, ie 89-91 or yall have other problems like intake manifold issues and lack of power. i would go wit the reman myself if its an s5 engine and not an s4.
