Well that sounds a little more convenient. What diameter hose are you using for that and what RPM do the ports open with this setup?

 

Yeah if you still have your air pump hooked up you can use that. never did one with the air pump but im sure there are people that have. Good Luck.

 

if you are taking your manifold off to check your sleeves you might want to think about doing the sleeves from pineappleracing.com just to give yourself a bit more power(around 8hp)

 

I used to have trouble with my 6 ports in my GTU. Although everything was hooked up they just weren't opening consistently, so I rigged an button on my steering wheel and a pair of led lights to the dash. When the ECU would give power to the solenoid it would also turn on the LED lights. If the ECU didn't turn on the solenoid when I wanted I pushed the button to give it power myself.

It was with an S5 setup which actuates an air solenoid to the 6 ports electrically... all you have to do is figure out which solenoid it uses.
