K. I'm almost finished hooking things up on the rex, and I just thought of something.

My cats have all been shelled, leaving me with nothing to create backpressure. Is my air pump going to open the auxillary ports itself, or do I have to rig them up to open @ ----- RPMs with that 3way valve mod or whatever?

the ports are opened up only by backpressure. the piping and the muffler will create some backpressure, but I do not know if they will create the 3psi you need. I would check and see if they open up before you do anything, if they still function it will save a lot of headaches.

Do you have any other exhaust work done, besides the gutted cats? If not, you'll be fine...hell, back when I was NA...I ran a straight pipe from the manifold back to the stock catback(no cats) and it still produced the needed pressure....

Hey Rob, no worries, thats what I want.

Fits right in with what I want.

kinda sucks though, I gotta go rip that 2nd precat off.....again. I swapped it with the gutted one for the needed backpressure. haha.

The last two days have been nothing but me removing stuff, putting it back on , taking it back off, fixing my stupid mistake, and putting it all back on. sometimes more than just twice. or three times.

maybe its cuz I'm off my meds....yeah. thats it. I'm not just an idiot.

...

Go get yourself a Catco cat from Summit, you can get it with a air tube, and they are under $100, youll be emissions legal, same performance, and the car will still be plenty loud.
