I just bought the Borla split-rear exhaust system for my 87 Turbo II. Now I'm just not sure what I have to do with the piping/cat converter. I'm thinking I just need a mid-pipe and a replacement cat, right? I've looked at some JC Whitney high-flow cats that look pretty sweet. I have to keep this thing street legal, cuz I'm pretty much fucked if I get caught without a cat. Let me know what you guys think would be my best bet. Thanks dudes.

you need a downpip and either a midpipe or cat. get the corksport downpipe ( cs downpipe ) and then get whatever type of cat you want.

As Mr. T noted above, you need a downpipe and a cat. And you will likely need a fuel cut defenser if you don't already have one.

This is a pic of my HKS downpipe, if you care.
