floor really isnt designed to have that kind of a load on it. for temporary its prolly ok, long term, with hard driving its prolly not

I'm pretty certain that those two brackets will bend, and eventually fail. You should do it properly and find a donar car and cut out the floor pan where the mounts goto and weld it into your car.

got the car back today and its great to be driving it again. the shifter bushings are shot so im gonna order new ones. on mazdatrix it shows the upper and lower bushings but also has a "groove bushing." do i need that too?



the reverse switch on the transmission is bad. what should i do to replace that and does anyone have one bc i dont see one on mazdatrix.



also, i still need a copy of the manual section of the fsm. if someone could send that to me or give me a link that would be cool. thanks





oh yeah, the cruise doesnt work now. how can i make that work?
