yeah the pilot bearing is like $11 and the seal is like $2.50 so its not a big deal.

If you don't really have a clue or you are depending on the car to earn a living no you probably shouldn't.
On the other hand, if you have a place to put the car and are able to take your time and not hurry through it sure, I don't see why not, air tools are not a necessity you can get the job done without them, it just makes the whole process a little faster using the pneumatics.
Do you have all the other stuff, the cross member braket is fabbed to fit, all that good stuff?

i will have all of the other stuff tomorrow, i have to go pick it up. i havent looked under the car to see if its one of the lucky one that got the auto and manual mount points but if it doesnt i will just order them from mazda and have them welded in. the car has been sitting in the garage for about 9 months so ive got the time and dont really need the car.
arent there special tools needed to do the clutch like the clutch alignment tool, etc?

started today, worked on it for about 6 hours and got the pedals done and the master cyl installed. i ended up having to hack saw the end of the long pedal bolt off bc the threads were damaged. it worked out though
i really need that manual section of the FSM. if someone could give me a link or email it to me id do something really special for you. not really but i do need it.
oh yeah, the fsm says the clutch is ok it theres like .3mm of meat left on it. is that true and if so how long would that much last? the clutch i got with the parts has probably at least 1mm on it and a new disc is like $70.
the guy said the pressure plate i got with the parts is almost new but it got wet so there is a little bit of surface rust on it. what should i use to clean it off? the fsm says to use emery paper to clean it but i dont know if that would work bc i dont even know what that is.

there isnt one, they come with the entire floor pan. what you need to do is get unca banzai to cut a pair out of a parts car, or something
