Koyo Radiator Replacement
Here's the Scenario:
My 2 year project has been fully on the road for about 5 months total now. With about 1000k miles on my setup.
Last summer, cracked a rear plate, fixed over the winter, put everything back in, all is well, except now I have a slow leak in my NEW Koyo Radiator. It is inside the fins somewhere, and I cannot locate it for the life of me. It slowly drips from the bottom endtank just below the lower radiator hose. I will be pulling it to pressure test it soon, and find out exactly where it is. It did not leak AT ALL before, held pressure and could bleed it once, and was good to go. Now I have to add coolant before each day I want to drive it, even if it just sat overnight. The overflow tank fills up in a few days, and because of the compromise in the system pressure, it will not get pulled back into the radiator as it cools down.
My question is...Can this radiator be replaced under warranty. I think the warranty period is 1 year. I know I have owned this radiator for more than a year, but it hasnt been on the car for anywhere close to that. I am pretty sure that 1 year is from purchase date...yada, yada, but I'm just exhausting every option before I have to run out an purchase ANOTHER new radiator.
Whatcha think?

My buddy used this stuff that you add to the coolant which supposedly acts like a JB Weld when it finds any leak in the radiator (from the inside) and seals it. It worked great for my buddy's Integra, maybe it's worth a shot? I think it's only like a $5 bottle of stuff you can get at some auto stores.

If warranty doesn't count, couldn't a shop repair it, rather than buying a whole new one?
Yes, I have been told that a shop could replace it, but they'll need to know EXACTLY where it is leaking. I hope to find the leak from the pressure testing.
