i just installed my new Koyo radiator the other day, and now the temperature gauge is saying that it's running really hot. i can't fit the fan shroud back on cause of the size of the radiator, could that be the problem? or is my thermostat going bad? Please help me out!

thanks,

Andrew

Thats happending because your not using the fan shroud. It has to have a fan shroud with the stock mech-clutch fan. There is nothing sucking air off the rad w/o the shroud. Time to uprgrade to an electric fan and mount it right on the radiator.

bleed the system. if that doesn't work. check the thermostat and if that doesn't work purchase some nice flexalite fans from jegs. they work GREAT!

if that were the case, wouldn't the "add coolant" light and extremely annoying buzzer be going off? or does the new radiator not have a sensor like the stock?
