Think hard about the NOS, I had to have it. Cheapest way to add hp, right? Maybe not, blew the intake off of the manifold today. Now I will have to find one to replace it. It worked fine until today. Thats the chance you take. I will be saving for a turbo setup, and I havent ruled out the SC, so keep us posted on how it works out, mine is NA too, but I dont want to leave it that way.
So you blew the weld on the intake? No really what happened? What system/setup do you have?

!!!Damage to Manifold!!

ok so is the supercharger kit one like the one from atkins? if so then it has been tested to work on a rotary, you may just have to upgrade the fuel pump and re-jet the carb... but if it is not from a roatry engine the flow may not be correct and could have very little effect on performance or be too much for the engine and blow it up.. I say for $100 you can't go wrong, besides once you have it and think it will not work you can always sell it and probably for more than that..

Old street racer tip for NOS backfires... install oneway blowoff valve.. It is for a SC app. It is aproxment 3/8 Dia one way high PSI valve that opens when a set PSI is applied, saving the carb/ manifold. I will see if I can come up with a link
