Junkyard Supercharged Rotary?

Sup people, I gotta 88 Rx non turbo wita 89 streetported engine. Only mods Ive done to the car is the streetporting, MSD ignition, switched from auto to stick (the first thing I did), and instead of using the stock fuel injectors I threw in a Dellorto Carb. My baby rips and now I wanna throw in a supercharger cause its more reliable than a turbo and all I can use is like 7 psi max. Would I get more power outta a turbo pushin 7 psi or supercharger pushin 7psi. These parts Im getting for a steal off a junkyard car all supercharging components with intercooler for $100! not including the mods I gotta do to get it on. I dont know what a turbos gonna run me tho. anybody got some info for me, maybe some tips on how to get the supercharger in there. Anything would help..Thanx alot

um from what you say supercharging will be much cheaper, and i mean much cheaper, more power? cant really say depending on plenty of other things, keep in mind the low end gained with a supercharger is nowhere near as great as a turbo, in fact with turbo youll loose low end because of lag, while a supercharger boosts right off of idle, well almost , but in any case, its your choice, from what you tell me i would ge with the supercharger, but again thats my personal choice and not yours, ask yourself what your loooking for? low end power? top end power? or both?
for low end and both supercharger would be best, but turbo has more potential for top end(variying from size and other upgrades)

Honestly, I say go with the turbo.. I mean hell, if mazda wanted the RX-7 to be supercharged, they would've made it like that.. but I guess it depends on how much money you want to spend.. if you can get these supercharger parts so cheap (in fairly good condition) then go with that if that's what you want.. if not, go with the turbo.. and about the 7psi.. well I guess it all depends on what kind of supercharger or turbocharger you're comparing..

I would also go turbo. Remember Boost is free power and works off your exhaust. Superchargers work off the power already created by your motor. I think the greater gain would be with a turbo. And probably cheaper although I don't really know of the cost on a Rx-7 supercharger.

Supercharge it now then add a turbo later to twin charge it.. Is the setup you are getting from a rotary engine? or just some ol supercharger? If so it may be hard and even costly to fabricate the stuff nedded to get it to work..

supercharger got 40k on it I would say its in good shape. And chainsstreroids, why would the engine be unrelaible? If I stay 7psi on the blower the engine will run fine. I think it will help my engine being I like to punch it alot. the driver has alot to do with an unreliable engine. Anyone know an exact list of things I need to don this?And how exactly is this system routed?Thanx. Ill be having pics when I put a kit on. I found a honda prelude that was stolen n stripped but still had the kit, took that **** and with a little fiberglass fixed little cracks. Mod looks easy just gonna cut the top curve of front bumper of my rx measure and mount spoiler kit. Should be done by May.

Is it a roots type blower? If it is dont bother with it. Roots blowers cannot reliably spin high rpm without failure. To compansate this you can change pulleys to slow the SC down. But a negative result is it takes higher RPM to get max boost. Another note, the faster you spin a roots blower the less efficent at moving air it becomes. BTW this gets me thinking anyone ran a rotary on alcohol with SC or turbo?
