Its gonna be a front mounted intercooller so the kit would help a bit and my rx hit well above 150 at the current moment. although Ive only brought it to 138 I did it with ease in 4th. I was just trying to save some money givin it a little more take off and Ive read that the the supercharger will not harm or shorten the life of the engine. **** it just wanna try somethin diferent.

Is it one of those "spoilers" that came from Boeing? I wouldnt have said I got it off a Pee Tec either. BTW you plan on driving over 150? because until that kind of speed all your doing is cuting your car up and adding wieght.

Just my onesided opinion.
Yea, i agree.. since no one's going to be hitting 150+ mph on a daily basis.. it would just be a waste. It's not like they look good either..

All I have to say is why not? Well just make sure you take care of the fuel side of the business. Supercharger would work easlier with the carb setup vs stock efi. But as someone mentioned the roots type blower doesn't work well with high rpms, nor do blowers in general. The reason rx7s are turbochargered and not SC, is because of the high exhaust output, you can spool some big turbos.... You can't compare pwr of a certain psi between turbo's and sc, its way too complicated, you would have to have the same cfm rating to really know....

SC ould also require some form of fuel delivery. The Dellordo carb would be a mission to adapt. The more I think about it, the more exspenive it becomes. Unless you go back to S5 EFI from your 89. The injectors are easy to upgrade, as is the CPU

Think hard about the NOS, I had to have it. Cheapest way to add hp, right? Maybe not, blew the intake off of the manifold today. Now I will have to find one to replace it. It worked fine until today. Thats the chance you take. I will be saving for a turbo setup, and I havent ruled out the SC, so keep us posted on how it works out, mine is NA too, but I dont want to leave it that way.

So much for the junk yard help I guess... I dont understand why you asked for help with a junkyard part, and then when you get some input on your vague question you counter with a well known Co. that got it right for our application And you still havent answer ANYONE'S questions
