Well This is the newest situation........MY engine has to come out.....no choice there.....so what to do what to do?

I need an engine and some synchros for my tranny but my tranny can wait.So.......................Here are my questions...



1)can I use an 87 na (automatic) in my 5speed? I am only considering this because I imaging an auto wouldn't be as abused as a 5 speed



2)where the hell can I get an affordable rebuild kit?..and 600 dollars is not affordable for me....



any help for my broke @$$ would be appreciated
