Hi, i know that S4 T2 transmissions had a shorter 5th gear then the S5 transmissions. (.76x compared to .71x i think).



What about JSpec transmissions? Were JSpec S5 5th gears the same as Aspec S5 5th gears?



I bolted up an S5 Jspec transmission hoping to get a taller 5th gear but i dont think it got any taller. Im revving ~3800rpm at ~140km/h or just under 90mph. Does that sound right to you guys with S5 Aspec trannies?

 

i dont think the jdm trannies are any different from ours, although thats just a guess and not actual fact.

You guys have S5 transmissions tho? I guess the only option to drop the over all ratio would be to get taller profile tires in the back.... 225/55 16 should be good.
