So we have a 90 rx7 non turbo. TurboII rear etc.

JDM TurboII with T2 harness. But the harness is cut right next to the oil filter. We have another supposed turboII harness from the importer as well. We were going to wire up the ECU (extended for usdm) and start it up. But here is the problem. The harnesses off of the ECU do not match whatsoever. The one on the engine has 11 more wires (i think) than the other harnesst that they sent (said is was also S5 T2) (everything is supposed to be S5 ...)

the cut harness on the engine has several grey cased wires.

so does the other harness.

But while stripping them i noticed that the one out of the car has all 1 black and 1 white wire in each grey housing

While the one on the engine has one grey housing with a red, black, white and blue wire in one of them, and the other grey housed wires have one wire in each one....not to mention alot of other wires that do not corrospond with the harness that is out of the car....

So do i have 2 totally different harnesses or different gens or am I just not catching something. this sucks

Any input. I cant get on here more than a few times a week so any know how and input or diagrams would be much much appreciated.

Thanks guys

also if you really wanted to you can use the na harness but you will lose your ps and ac unless you go stand alone

how would that be? ps is totally seperate, ac needs a ground by the ecu.

i found out why nothing was lining up. the importer sent me the completly wrong harness which is for a sr20det so i guess i need a harness(if anyone has one i am interested). also does anybody know what i would need to do to use a jdm s5 harness i hear you need to extend a plug on it.

i am going aem stand alone but it doesnt come with a harness, and i want to make sure the engine is good before installing it.

thanks for the replys
