Intermittant Problem With 86 Na

116,500 when I got it. It only had 200 miles put on it since it was titled last april. This is the nastiest filter I have pulled in a long time. This is also an example of why I dissect filters on my cars. They tell you soo much about the condition of the innards. John

good idea... I guess sometimes I overlook things just because I'm at 77k but the car is still old ... I never thought of checking the tank filter even and I threw out the fuel filter last time I changed it. The filter on there now is 2 years old but has about 6k on it... I should change it regardless... not sure how age compares to mileage.. with rust issues, it doesnt matter, a car sitting around can develop that **** I would imagine maybe even worse in the tank than a car that goes through a tank a week or whatever.
