I was wondering if you could use a S5 UIM and throttle body on a S4 LIM and engine. would everything go together ok. what else would i need if anything. could i just wire the VDI open or would that cause funny problems.

 

nope won't work, the bolt pattern between the LIM and UIM are different S4 to S5.



you'd need the S5 LIM also.

yeah you can use the whole S5 intake on a S4 motor, if I remember correctly theres a slight interference issue which just requires some grinding, nothing major.

 

what do you mean "interference issue"? And can i wire open the VDI, since done have a solinod(sp?)

 

i think part of the s5 intake hits the s4 motor. you can either wire the vdi open or tee it in with the 6ports
