If I pull my intake on my 88' N/A do I need to drain the coolant first?

I guess what I am asking is there coolant flowing through the intake manifold?

there is coolant flowing through the throttle body and BAC. just undo the rad cap to unpressurize the system you will get a little coolant. if you want you can drain the whole thing but its not really necessary

Not on an NA. TII's have coolant going through the lower manifold.

Water flows through the LIM for the turbo. That's why the TII rotor housings have those extra holes.
