Default Idle problems

I have an 88 rx7 and I've been having an idle problem. It idles at about 700-800 when it should be at around 1100. I'm curious if it could be the tps or if it's another issue all together. Plz help. Thank you

have you reset the idle using the screw on the top of your intake manifold? to set it up turn it counter clockwise, to turn it down clockwise

usually covered by a black boot.

These cars are supposed to idle at 750 assuming a fully warmed up engine. If your TPS is correctly adjusted, it sounds like your idle is OK.

Actually found out my problem. I have an apex seal going bad and it's messing up my idle cuz I'm losing compression. I did check the tps and adjusted the idle a bit but my problem is the compression. I'm having the motor rebuilt in a few months upgraded to a stage 2 rebuild with a mild street port. Thanks for all the help guys
