Sounds like you need to adjust your TPS to me. Get the check lamps or a multimeter and check it and set it to the proper setting. If it will not set properly then buy a new one.

By checking the voltgage on my Power FC the setting on my TPS gets a little off about every 2-3 weeks.

Also sounds like you have other problems as well. If you have coolant leaks then you need to fix them a coolant leak can cause air to be trapped in your cooling system giving false readings to the ECU this could contribute to idle problems since the ECU adjusts idle mixture using Water Temp as a variable.

the tps bolt hasnt been in the tps since i got the car, didnt seem to effect it much but ive been planning on settnig it properly until this problem arose.

the coolant temp gauge will show it from horizontal to in the hot zone and then jump back to horizontal.....would that be the cause of an idle problem? i gotta get some hose and run it to fix the ghetto-rig job someone did.

if you have air bubbles in the cooling system the thermowax (the thing that opens the throttle when its cold) will pop on and off

i have seen the wax rod get stuck in other cars. especially with a coolant leak the rod is almost if not the highest point in the cooling system so it no flow and no heat to retract. fwiw

First of all the line that is leaking coolant on your car is the coolant feed line to your turbo. My suggestion is to replace it ASAP so that no damage is caused to the turbo. Second of all I would have to slightly agree with J9fd3s, Tampafd, and Frestyle. They are close in my opinion, but I would have to say that because of the very cold weather in the NE right now your car isn't staying completely warmed. Are you running redline water wetter or a coolant mixture more than 50/50? If so I would suggest changing the mixture to a 50/50 mix to make your car run warmer for the rest of the winter and then when the summer comes around you can change it back to something with more water in it so it runs cooler.
