I just watched a video of a guy who blew his manifold clean off on a dyno pull doing that, while the fireball was impressive, the broken parts made me cry. I dont think I need all that action...

lol no, this was like an '04-'05 Mustang, brutal

I'm still doing homework on all this info/suggestions/advice, i'll probably limp into this project similar as I did with the original resto. Even then I'm sure i'll make a few steps back before moving forward again

Pushing ahead with N/A mods, FD swap after that, built off '99 spec hopefully. I know they've been picked over some but not as much as the Jspec S4/S5 stuff. Thats gives pletny of time to play with next swap stuff while the car is back together and running in the meantime. I haven't driven the car since September and before that it had been a while, itchin bad to get it back together and on the road when the weather breaks around here.

Its never about the money Rob, you know that, it's about large sums of money all at once. Trying to turn a profit on everything isn't quite as easy as it used to be so I'd like to keep as much of it working for me and pull some off as I need it instead of writing one big check. It took me a minute to get back up to speed on some of this stuff after a two year break but its coming together now.

I'm not really opposed to anything for the next engine at this point, obviously I want a good core to start with, mostly the plates, the housings will probably be junk but ya never know. I need a good place to start, if there are better parts from other engines that I can mix and match to make a better finished product, of course I'll go that route.
