as far as the hood goes, check any shops around your area, and junk yards, aluminum is good, though I think your vert came with one stock, I know some did, which is where I got my nice light hood =)

any other opinions on me getting the full border kit shown in the other thread about border body kits? also about the TII hood. my car is a stock 89 vert, well i have an ebay intake, and i know its not fast so i wouldnt be like the civics with bod kits who think they are fast.

ya minor damage like that is probbaly better to fix yourself then claim it. used hood + bumper is pretty cheap.

I know for my insurance it's not worth claiming anything under like $4-5kusd. cause my rates will go up that much over the next 10 years or so.

well, its not just a hood and a bumper. there is also structural damage. i know which body shop my insurance uses so i will go there to get a quote to see how much i can get from the insurance. i know theres other places that do work just as well that will do it for less so i will use them. my insurance is gonna go up anyways bc i got a ticket for failure to control speed.

ok the thing on the left with 2 arrows is supposed to be straight. the other arrows are showing the difference in spacing between the bumper and that thing.
